Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our dynamic product team in Edinburgh United Kingdom. As a key member of our organization you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions driving product innovation and improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather analyze and document business requirements for product development initiatives
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends patterns and opportunities for product enhancement
- Create detailed functional specifications user stories and process flows to guide development efforts
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and ensure alignment among cross-functional teams
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps prioritizing features based on business value and user needs
- Perform market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy
- Create and maintain documentation for business processes system requirements and product features
- Act as a liaison between the product team development team and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project success
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst preferably in product development
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. Excel Tableau Power BI)
- Experience with business process modeling and requirements gathering techniques
- Solid understanding of SQL and database concepts
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. JIRA Trello)
- Experience working in Agile environments
- In-depth understanding of the product development lifecycle
- Knowledge of market trends and competitive landscape in the industry
- CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification is preferred
It would be a real bonus if you have:
- Experience in working with Agile methodologies.
- Other European languages are a plus.
- ACCP certification.
