Title: Graduate Accountant/Accounts

Reporting to: Finance Director

Department: Finance

Salary: London Living Wage

Location: Shoreditch London (hybrid - minimum 4 days in the office)

The Role


Fresh thinking and a passion for accounting complemented by a hunger to learn and help are essential requirements. Initial responsibilities will include ownership of accounts payables and receivables. Once mastered the growth to develop includes financial analysis reporting and accounting functions. You will work closely with senior team members to ensure accurate and timely financial operations while helping drive growth and sustainable initiatives.


The role is based out of our London HQ in a hybrid capacity with a minimum requirement of 3 days in the office.


Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices manage credit reconciliations and ensure timely and accurate transactions.
  • Fresh Thinking & Process Improvement: Contribute innovative ideas to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
  • Financial Accounting Commercial finance Support: Assist with statistical returns commercial modelling FP&A tasks and preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Provide support for ad-hoc accounting projects and assignments as required.
  • Assist in implementing sustainable practices aligned with company goals.


Skills and Experience


The ideal candidate should fulfil most of the list below we know that ideal candidates rarely exist so we will consider all applications from people keen on learning to fill in any gaps.


  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
  • First-class passes in accounting physics and or mathematics coursework
  • Passion for a career in accounting (CIMA ACA or similar)


Ideal Characteristics:

  • Excellent grades in Maths and/or related degree
  • Previous accounting experience (internships or placements)
  • Demonstrable commitment to pursuing professional accounting qualifications (e.g. CIMA ACA)
