Job OverviewWe are seeking a passionate and experienced Art Teacher for our locations in Mysuru Hassan Mangaluru and Shimoga. This full-time senior position requires a candidate with a minimum of 4 years to a maximum of 6 years of relevant work experience in the field. The ideal candidate will be responsible for nurturing creativity and promoting visual literacy among students in a dynamic and supportive educational environment.
- Qualifications and SkillsExtensive experience in teaching fine arts with the ability to inspire and engage students effectively.
- Expertise in Fine Art (Mandatory skill) with a proven track record in creating compelling and diverse art projects.
- Capability as an artist (Mandatory skill) to demonstrate creative techniques and mentor developing talents.
- Proficient in Drawing (Mandatory skill) with an emphasis on enhancing students expression and technique.
- Curriculum Design skills to align art lessons with educational objectives and innovative teaching methods.
- Strong Visual Literacy skills to help students understand and analyze visual media critically.
- Excellent Presentation Skills to effectively communicate concepts and engage students in interactive learning.
- Ability to foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment encouraging artistic exploration and growth.
- Roles and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a creative and comprehensive art curriculum that enhances students artistic skills.
- Conduct engaging art classes that cover a variety of techniques including drawing painting and mixed media.
- Evaluate and assess student artworks providing constructive feedback to improve their artistic abilities.
- Organize art exhibitions and events to showcase student work and promote art within the school community.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to incorporate art across various subjects and enhance the learning experience.
- Stay updated on contemporary art trends and integrate innovative art forms into the classroom.
- Maintain art supplies inventory and ensure a well-organized and resourceful art studio space.
- Encourage students to participate in local national and international art competitions to gain broader exposure.
