Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):
The Ceramic Worker position for CAD 115 will assist in helping maintain the ceramic studio helping Technician and Professor load and unload kilns mix clay and glazes daily cleanup task that is assigned to student workers. This is a physical job.

- Troubleshoot google docs and google calendar.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Daily assigned task of cleaning ceramic studio
- Unloading and loading kilns
- Recycling clay in clay mixer
- Restocking clay bins when empty
- Mixing glazes by following recipes
- Restocking dried materials
- Clean kiln shelves
- Help make labels for firing signs and glazes
- Be able to operate kilns
- Push and pull carts with ceramic ware on them
Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)
- Prefer experience and knowledge in ceramics (High school college or both).
- Student must be able to lift 30-50 lbs
- Student must be reliable punctual and organized
- Student has the ability to work in a team
- Student is skilled at clear communication
