Job Description

The primary function of the Manager Operations Support (Facility Cleaning and Gowning Lead ) is principle oversight of the site gowning and cleaning programs including not only daily cleaning and disinfection activities for general GMP areas but also supporting assurance of proper aseptic cleaning practices gowning inventory control and change management and compliance for the cleaning and gowning programs across all Focus Factories. This individual will identify lead and implement key strategic efforts within the cleaning and gowning programs at the Rocky Mount facility support facilitation of engagements with key contract vendors for provision of gowning and cleaning services and ensure compliance with site SOPs and regulations.

The Manager Operations Support will also help ensure seamless operations in SVP filling areas drive continuous improvement in the sanitation department and support general compliance activities for the Plant Supply & Logistics Focus Factory. It will be key for the Manager Operations Support to demonstrate a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers as well as oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

You will report to the Manager Operations Professional within a Focus Factory.

What You Will Achieve

In this role you will:

  • Support and oversee the daily cleaning and disinfection activities for common areas including CNC hallways containment offices Commodity Prep CNC Pass-throughs Aseptic Locker rooms SVP Locker rooms R2 CNC Hallways R3 common hallways R3 ECA/ATEC R3 Formulations and R1 Formulations.

  • Supervise sanitation colleagues across shifts to support common areas.

  • Ensure seamless planning execution and tracking of sanitation activities to support Operations in SVP filling areas without interruption to manufacturing.

  • Perform necessary monitoring duties of cleaning activities to ensure compliance with site SOPs and regulations. Conduct audits of cleaning aseptic techniques clean room behaviors and gowning as part of standard work.

  • Train new and existing colleagues on cleaning and disinfection procedures.

  • Develop and implement key projects to improve compliance and efficiencies in the Operations Support (Sanitation) department.

  • Coordinate the completion of cleaning to support manufacturing and minimize downtime. Manage and order inventory of necessary sanitation equipment and cleaning supplies.

  • Inventory management for gowning and aseptic services bulk chemical storage

  • Cleaning and Disinfection SME for audits

  • Supports facility modifications decommissioning and related risk assessments.

  • IHP Lead (SME) for shutdown activities

  • Maintain working knowledge of cGMPs and emerging regulatory and compliance concerns related to aseptic manufacturing.

  • Write investigations support environmental related investigations across Focus Factories implement/own CAPAs generate change controls for procedure updates and manage the print review and storage of controlled cleaning documents.

  • Supervise a team of direct reports and conduct performance evaluations.

  • Attend Tier 0 meetings conduct Tier 1 meetings on scheduled workdays and enter DOC metrics.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • Applicant must have a bachelors degree with at least 4 years of
    experience; OR a masters degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a PhD with 0 years of experience; OR as associates degree with 8 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

  • Experience in aseptic manufacturing and sanitation processes.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail.

  • Proven leadership skills mentorship with the ability to motivate and inspire team members towards achieving common goals.

  • Professional certifications in sanitation or aseptic techniques are a plus.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to perform tasks such as lifting sitting standing walking and bending. Capability to perform mathematical calculations and complex data analysis

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address disposition and supply chain issues. Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in managing disposition sequences and timelines. Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment managing multiple priorities

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • May involve working in shifts to ensure continuous production operations including early morning late evening or overnight shifts.

  • May be to work on weekends and holidays to meet production deadlines or address urgent issues.

  • Required to be on-call to handle emergencies or critical situations outside of regular working hours.

  • During peak production periods or tight deadlines may require working extended hours to ensure tasks are completed on time

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $96300.00 to $160500.00. In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 12.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
