Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Science Intern to join our team. In this role you will work closely with other analytics professionals to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will gain hands-on experience with data collection cleaning analysis and visualization and contribute to real-world projects that drive business impact.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in data preprocessing feature engineering and exploratory data analysis.
- Support the development and evaluation of machine learning models.
- Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable solutions.
- Document methodologies and present findings to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science Computer Science Statistics Mathematics or a related field.
- Familiarity with Python R SQL and data analysis libraries (e.g. pandas scikit-learn matplotlib).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data platforms (e.g. SQL PostgreSQL) or data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Qlik).
- Knowledge of data science modeling techniques.
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and statistical modeling.
Base Pay Range: Hourly salary range offered for this position is estimated to be $20.00 - $25.00. However the actual pay range depends on each candidates experience location and qualifications.
