Junior Travel Consultant - Full-Time - Chennai Tamil Nadu India
Qualifications and Skills
- 0-3 years of experience as a Travel Consultant or in a similar role
- Knowledge of travel industry trends destinations and travel-related products and services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in using travel booking software and reservation systems
- Good problem-solving skills
- Flexible and adaptable to changing travel requirements and client preferences
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluency in English and any additional foreign language is a plus
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist clients in planning organizing and booking their travel arrangements including flights accommodations transportation and tours
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on travel destinations attractions and activities based on client preferences and budget
- Research and gather information on travel options such as visa requirements travel restrictions and health and safety guidelines
- Create detailed travel itineraries customized to client specifications ensuring a seamless and enjoyable travel experience
- Handle all aspects of booking and reservation processes including ticketing hotel reservations car rentals and travel insurance
- Coordinate with airlines hotels and other travel partners to ensure smooth logistics and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise
- Stay up to date on industry trends travel regulations and emerging destinations to provide the most accurate and relevant information to clients
- Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries addressing concerns and resolving any travel-related problems
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions bookings and payments
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company

Working Hours: Monday to Saturday (10:00 - 19:00)
