POSITION SUMMARY:
The Lead Scheduler is responsible for developing maintaining and updating project schedules. Ensuring that projects are delivered on time in accordance with baseline. The Lead Schedler must have a strong background in scheduling within the EPC industry and possess excellent analytical and communication skills. This role requires critical thinking an ability to effectively communicate schedule status progress or flaws to a wide range of stakeholders inclusive of clients executives and project execution team. This individual must have the ability to mentor and train other schedules in the fundamentals of scheduling development of a sound schedule review of schedules and general company processes as it relates to schedule development and oversight.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop comprehensive project schedules utilizing software (Primavera or Microsoft Project) exhibit strong technical background in scheduling software and project controls tools
- Coordinate with project execution teams engineers procurement preconstruction managers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and schedule requirements to develop schedules
- Monitor project progress identify and communicate potential schedule risks and delays
- Prepare and present regular schedule reports and updates to management and stakeholders
- Implement best practice in scheduling and project controls methodologies
- Mentor and guide junior scheduling staff and promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project specifications
- Lead scheduling planning sessions
- Provide support to project management team on schedule analysis and time impact studies
- Lead technical discussions with client representatives as needed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree in construction management project controls or equivalent experience
- 5-8 years of experience in project scheduling in EPC industry within the self-perform space
PREFERRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Preference is given for experience in Solar Renewable Energy Battery Energy Storage Systems or Power Generation.
- Proficiency in scheduling software
- String understanding in project controls principles and methodologies
- Excellent analytical critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of planning scheduling Earned Value Management Work Breakdown Structure Critical Path Method Risk Path Analysis Program Evaluation Review Technique and Time Impact Analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong Excel experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to perform duties and adapt to changes in a fast-moving environment.
