About the Role:
Our client is seeking a senior-level CRM and lifecycle marketing leader to backfill for an upcoming parental leave and recent team changes. This is a strategic leadership position requiring someone with the experience and confidence to own the organizations CRM strategy during a peak season while collaborating cross-functionally across a matrixed organization without peer-level guidance.
The ideal candidate will serve as both a stabilizing force and strategic operator ensuring the CRM roadmap is executed successfully while also navigating internal dynamics and championing CRM priorities at the highest levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Continuity
Own and steward brands CRM strategy during parental leave coverage
Shadow and absorb knowledge from current CRM leader prior to their leave
Guide CRM planning testing and prioritization for Q4 (holiday/gifting) and Q1/Q2 2026 initiatives
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Report to organizational COO with line of sight into all marketing functions
Work directly with CLIENTs CRM agency product owners and internal stakeholders
Operate without a direct peer marketing manager with confidence clarity and independence
Support content and messaging alignment across lifecycle channels and the broader org
Campaign Execution Oversight
Lead CRM execution strategy with focus on personalization and conversion
Oversee campaign testing analysis and iteration in collaboration with external partners
Advocate for segmentation data hygiene and CRM channel optimization
Organizational Influence & Advocacy
Navigate internal systems and relationships to advocate for CRM priorities and resource needs
Bring a solutions-oriented approach to org ambiguity helping unify cross-functional efforts
Build trust and maintain open lines of communication with senior leadership
Qualifications :
10 years in CRM lifecycle marketing or digital marketing leadership roles
Expertise in high-volume seasonal marketing environments especially consumer/e-commerce brands
Proven success in large matrixed organizations managing global priorities and translations
Comfortable leading without direct oversightthis role requires independence and sound judgment
Fluency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud preferred (strategic familiarity not execution)
Experience guiding end-to-end campaign development: from concept to CRM and web delivery
Strategic thinker with operational follow-through
Clear communicator and collaborative influencer
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and internal politics with calm authority
Bias for alignment and performance with high attention to cross-functional dynamics
