About the opportunity
As a Noahs Ark Professional (Key Worker) you will work closely with families to support childrens development through evidence-based early intervention.
Whether youre an early-career or experienced Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist youll play a vital role in helping children reach their potential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Empower children aged 0-12 with disabilities and their families through high-quality trans-disciplinary services.
- Deliver direct support and interventions in homes and communities seamlessly integrating goals into daily life while achieving targets.
- Develop individualised strategies to support childrens development.
- Build family capacity and foster strong community partnerships through collaboration to achieve meaningful outcomes.
- Champion quality service and continuous improvement maintain accurate records and upload Noahs Arks values and practice practices.
Skills And Experiences
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- Strong understanding of current childhood development theories family dynamics and the childrens services system especially concerning children with disabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve agreed targets while providing effective family-centred and strength-based interventions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain collaborative partnerships.
- Ability to work independently while also effectively contributing as a member of a trans-disciplinary team managing workload and prioritising tasks efficiently.
- AHPRA registration (for Occupational Therapists) or SPA membership (for Speech Pathologists).
- Valid driver license and own car for travel to client locations.
