Position Summary: The Human ResourceCoordinator assists with and completes the administrative duties of the Human Resources (HR) department. This role is essential in ensuring efficient and effective HR operations and providing excellent service to employees and management. This is an in-office position in South Bend IN.
Primary Responsibilities: - Assists with the coordination of new hire onboarding and orientation processes.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS systems.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies procedures and benefits.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and training sessions.
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws and company policies.
- Prepare HR-related reports and documents as needed.
- Assists with processing of terminations.
- Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
- Files documents into appropriate employee files.
- Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
- Prepares new-employee files.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and sensitive HR matters.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field preferred.
- 13 years of experience in an HR support role.

- Responsible for protecting data entrusted to HHIT by customers or other parties by strictly adhering to HHITs data security and privacy policies and procedures as well as HIPAA PIPEDA and all other applicable law.
- Speaking and writing English is a requirement for this position
