Job Description
Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Category Coordinator Deli on a temporary basis (up to 12 months) on our Consumer Products team. This position is a hybrid opportunity andis based in Saskatoon SK.
In this role you will aim to drive excellence in retail operational compliance in such a way that our local Co-op stores maximize sales reduce shrink improve freshness and reduce labour. If you enjoy developing category plans using category analytics for local Co-ops and making recommendations on product assortments in a timely manner then this is the right opportunity for you!
What youll do:
- Assist Category Managers with category reviews and product assortment planning to maximize category growth.
- Introduce new products planograms and innovative merchandising by utilizing business intelligence tools.
- Provide analysis on potential growth categories using market intelligence and internal data to meet business objectives driven by KPIs and annual goals.
- Create and execute pricing strategies to remain competitive maximize margins and provide analysis on targeted categories

The Team:You will work closely with other Category Coordinators the Zone Team and will report into the Category team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration team building and innovation.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Category Management and:
- You have 1 3 years of relevant experience. Retail experience with a preference for deli would be an asset.
- Have a Bachelors Degree with a preference for marketing or general business (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
