We are looking for a driven and motivated Jr. Business Development/Intern to join our dynamic hybrid team. This role offers the unique opportunity to be a key contributor to our growth and success.
You will play a pivotal role in building and developing our data analytics product understanding payments performances while directly impacting our clients ability to optimize their payment processes. As we scale you will have the chance to evolve into a leadership position and shape the future direction of our company.
Tasks
- Build and maintain targeted lead lists by researching companies industries and key decision-makers using LinkedIn Apollo Crunchbase and other prospecting tools.
- Draft and send personalized cold outreach messages (email and LinkedIn) to prospects tailored to their role industry and potential pain points.
- Perform cold calls to engage prospects introduce the companys value proposition and qualify initial interest or book discovery calls.
- Collaborate with the senior business development team to refine outreach scripts objection handling and messaging frameworks.
- Update and manage leads in the CRM ensuring proper tagging follow-up tasks and accurate status tracking throughout the pipeline.
- Conduct initial qualification of leads assessing potential fit based on company profile use case and readiness to engage.
- Monitor outreach performance metrics including open rates reply rates conversion to meeting and call outcomes and suggest improvements.
- Segment lead lists by vertical company size region or buyer persona to support more targeted and effective outreach.
- Participate in weekly prospecting stand-ups or reviews sharing insights on what messaging works and which lead sources convert best.
- Support sales enablement materials by sharing feedback from outreach helping improve pitch decks one-pagers and email templates.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in business development sales or lead generation in a B2B environment.
- Proven track record in outbound prospecting including cold emailing LinkedIn outreach and cold calling.
- Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory. Fluency in at least one additional language: German French Italian or Spanish.
- Experience using prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator Apollo Lusha or Crunchbase to build high-quality target lists.
- Confident communicator on the phone with the ability to engage qualify and handle objections from potential clients.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g. HubSpot Salesforce Pipedrive) and disciplined in maintaining clean up-to-date records.
- Ability to write compelling outreach messages tailored to specific personas industries or company profiles.
- Self-motivated organized and curious with a strong willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced business environment.
