Job Description

In this position you will be responsible for understanding key business processes and system solutions supporting those processes; solve daily operational issues and responding appropriately; maintenance of metrics supporting the Supply Chain Optimization program; management of data needed for program on-boarding and daily operations; coordination and follow up with regional and distributed team leaders on various logistics reports.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Perform configuration and programming set-up to solve issues in Oracle Transportation Management tool.
- Accuratelysettingup andmaintainingthemasterdatasuchaslocations corporations carriers anduseraccountsrequestedbyinternalandexternalEmersonuserswithintherequiredtimeframe.
- Interact frequently with system users both internal and external to Emerson to provide user support trainings and problem resolution.
- Manage the Program Operations Help Desk and provide daily logistics support globally for Emerson and Non-Emerson users.
- Conduct Spot Bids for overweight dimensionally oversized and project cargo freight for Air mode.
- Run reports and work with service providers to improve the Supply Chain Optimization program metrics for EMEA region.

For This Role You Will Need:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Business Engineering Information Technology or any related field
- Understanding of basic concepts of supply chain logistics or transportation terminology and processes.
- Proficient in English (verbal and written communication skills).
- 1-2yearsof relevant experience in transportation logistics supply chain operations or closely related business management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

- Proficiency in communicating effectively with colleagues from different cultural backgrounds and in various regions.
- Abilitytomulti-taskandto adapt to changing circumstances and new systems or processes within a multinational context.

- Good interpersonal communicationskills;
- Familiaritywithlogistics tools and systems.
