Youll be the strategic force behind how Westpac Institutional Bank (WIB) manages financial crime riskdesigning frameworks that are not only compliant but scalable sustainable and built for the future. This role is all about creating clarity in complexity: aligning with regulatory standards across Australia and New Zealand embedding a single view of risk and driving smarter decision-making across the business.

- Framework fluency: Youve worked with financial crime risk frameworks and know how to build align and evolve them to meet regulatory and business needs.
- Data-driven thinking: Youre comfortable with data governance and analytics and you know how to turn insights into action that strengthens controls and informs strategy.
- Stakeholder savvy: You can navigate complex stakeholder landscapes influencing across lines of business and collaborating with second line teams to embed effective controls.
- Policy and governance expertise: You understand how to craft and maintain risk policies procedures and standards that are both practical and principled.
- Strategic execution: Youre not just a planneryoure a doer. You know how to drive quarterly risk assessments embed sustainable programs and keep the big picture in focus.
