Job Description

We are seeking a Regional Administrator who will be responsible for the oversight support and enhancement of quality management systems and educational initiatives across assigned senior living communities. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all communities meet or exceed regulatory standards and deliver exceptional resident care. The Regional Administrator will work collaboratively with Administrators Assistant Administrators and leadership to promote a culture of clinical excellence compliance and continuous improvement.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor and ensure implementation of policies and procedures in compliance with facility state and federal regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct compliance surveys and internal audits; assist with the development of action plans to address findings and mitigate risks.
  • Participate in state and federal inspections surveys and investigations; provide support during and after survey processes.
  • Interpret and communicate regulatory changes ensuring appropriate adjustments are made at the community level.
  • Conduct reviews of resident move-outs and move-in denials to ensure compliance with standards and clinical appropriateness.
  • Provide clinical risk management consultation to reduce liability and improve resident outcomes.
  • Evaluate care-related costs and reimbursement strategies; collaborate with community leaders to ensure financial sustainability while maintaining quality care.
  • Provide orientation and ongoing in-service education for community staff on topics such as compliance risk management performance improvement and survey readiness.
  • Participate in the selection onboarding and development of Administrator and Administrator Assistant.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to Administrator Administrator Assistant and other designated staff.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality care through direct mentorship and oversight.

This list is not exhaustive and you may be required to perform other standard nursing duties as needed to support the nursing team and ensure the well-being of our residents.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Current LTC Administrator License required.
  • Experience as a LTC Administrator required - minimum of 5 years preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership or management experience.
  • Prior experience in assisted living home health or long-term care required.
  • Extensive knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to travel regularly across communities.
  • Strong leadership communication and mentoring skills

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to stand walk and move for prolonged periods.
  • Manual dexterity required for operating medical equipment and administering medications.
  • Visual and auditory acuity sufficient to monitor resident care and respond to emergencies.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • High level of emotional intelligence to handle stressful situations and provide compassionate care.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with residents families and staff.
