Library Services Assistant - Childrens and Music Team Library of Birmingham

Working 36.5 hours per week
You will work as part of the Library of Birminghams Childrens & Music team delivering a customer focussed service in a busy and demanding public library environment. We are one team providing library services in both the Childrens Library and the Music Library.
Fantastic opportunity to work as part of the Library of Birminghams Childrens & Music team delivering a first class customer focussed service in a busy and demanding public library environment. We are one team providing library services in both the Childrens Library and the Music Library.
This role will support the Manager and Team in delivering a range of library services to the public including: delivery of the Library of Birmingham Enquiry Line and the day to day running of team specific services which includes supporting stock management and stock maintenance; assisting with promotional activities including group visits School visits workshops events including family and children activities (Under 5 and above) producing printed resources & displays and supporting customers to access other floors and services within the Library of Birmingham.
Childrens work includes taking part in activities such as Rhyme Time and Story Time; Music work includes music practice room bookings and supporting customers with music related enquiries.
Training provided for all tasks.
