The Medical Records Coordinator will maintain medical records and prepare patient information for provider daily clinics.
This is a temporary part-time (0.6) position working variable hours M-F out of our Edina and Plymouth locations.
Haugen OB/GYN is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health) a group of local medical practices owned and led by its physicians on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.
Essential functions:
- Request charts for upcoming appointments
- Scan patient information into electronic medical record
- Verify patient information is accurate and up to date in electronic medical record
- Prep for patient appointment including patient face sheet portal forms worksheet diagnostic results pertaining to the appointment and other provider requests
- Distribute Efax reports daily
- Ensure inter-office correspondence is distributed and documented in a timely manner
- Maintain records area
- Any and all other duties as assigned
Education experience & other requirements:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- Previous Medical Records experience preferred
