Job Description

Miramar Florida

Summary:

Performs administrative/clerical duties in support of an assigned nursing area.
The position requires a commitment of two days per week with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

Performs needed clerical tasks including copying faxing filing and ordering/obtaining patients and visitors. Monitors answers screens and routes all telephone calls. Emergency alerts pages and overhead announcements as with processing patient admissions transfers and discharges. Assembles and maintains patient records and charts.

Education and Certification Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Requires familiarity with medical Work Experience: No prior work experience required.
