Job Description

About the Role:

Grade Level (for internal use):

Role Purpose:Act as a single point of contact for a portfolio of rated clients in Spain and Portugal. Responsible for maintaining and growing revenue within these accounts and collaborating appropriately with other parts of S&P Global to widen and deepen the relationship S&P Global has with the client. The orchestrator for all key non-analytical relationship issues across the designated portfolio.

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Maintain and grow revenue within a designated portfolio of rated clients in Spain and Portugal.

  • Act as the primary contact for non-analytical relationship issues ensuring seamless communication and support.

  • Collaborate with other divisions of S&P Global to enhance client relationships and identify new opportunities.

  • Develop strategies to deepen client engagement and satisfaction.

  • Provide insights and feedback to internal teams based on client interactions and needs.

  • Participate in industry events and forums to represent S&P Global and build networks with market leaders.

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Finance or a related field.

  • An S&P Global employee in similar position typically comes with around 7 - 12 years of proven experience in sales or relationship management within the financial services industry.

  • Strong communication skills in English Spanish and ideally Portuguese.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with clients in Spain and Portugal.

  • Familiarity with S&P Globals products and services.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
