What you will be doing...
As a Customer Service Assistant youll play an important role for our customers by ensuring exceptional service leading to high customer satisfaction. Youll be knowledgeable on our routes and tickets as well as provide support and assistance to customers in times of need and disruption.
In this role youll follow rules regulation and safety notices within the station to ensure not only you but our stations can safely operate. Youll make sure our stations are presentable and if there is cause for an accident or other safety related issues youll be first to adhere to safety requirements and procedures.

What youll be doing:
- Dispatching trains safely and punctually from station platforms
- Communicating clearly with train crews station staff and control rooms
- Monitoring train movements and responding quickly to disruptions or changes
- Ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Delivering excellent customer service and information especially during delays
What were looking for:
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- Ability to stay calm focused and accurate in a fast-paced environment
- Good awareness of safety procedures and regulations (training provided)
- Flexibility to work shifts including early mornings evenings weekends and holidays Previous rail transport or safety-critical experience is a bonus but not essential
