We are currently recruiting for a Crime Standards Strategic Manager to act as the Force lead on standards of crime & incident recording and represent the constabulary at a national regional and local level.
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the data and compliance with Force and national requirements. You will also be managing the Force Incident & Crime Auditing Section and the Crime Incident Management Unit.
Your role on any day may include:
4. To provide specialist advice and knowledge to programme/project teams steering groups and those developing policy and procedures which affect crime & incident recording practices.
5 . To consult with stakeholders to ensure that the products and services provided by the department continue to meet the changing needs of the force and external agencies (e.g. HMICF&RS).

Do you have a working knowledge of serious crime investigations crime and incident recording and Home Office Guidelines
Are you experienced in conducting investigations and audits to improve performance and quality
Do you have proven management experience including management of staff (sickness monitoring appraisals development etc)
Are you educated to QCF Level 6 or have relevant experience that would equate to this level
