Job Description

The Wolcott Town School District is seeking a dynamic and innovative teacher to join the team starting with the 2025-2026 School Year. The initial placement for this position is anticipated to be in Grade 6 and teach Math and Science for grades 5 and 6. The ideal candidate will have a: - Passion for inspiring and working with elementary students- Strong understanding of child development growth mindset and trauma-informed practices- Commitment to building strong relationships- Passion for discovery and student engagement Wolcott Elementary School is the gem of the Wolcott community. Built in 1989 the school has been home to many wonderful students teachers and families. Currently Wolcott Elementary serves 100 students in grades K-6. Situated high on the hill Wolcott Elementary offers students a safe comfortable and rigorous academic environment. While academics are an important part of the experience our students are also treated to a loving and caring school has been recognized for the past several years as a PBIS School of Distinction.
