Job Description

Reporting to the Branch Sales Manager your key responsibility is the growth of Crowns powered truck market share within a specific region.

The regions already host an existing client portfolio but ultimately the success of the role hinges on 80% New Business Development and 20% Account Management of our existing customer base

Areas for which the TSR will be responsible for increasing revenue include:

Sales

New Crown Trucks.

Used Crown Trucks.

Crown Warehouse Solutions.

Short Term Rental (STR)

Expectations

A minimum of 40 completed in C360S face to face appointments per working week.

Combination of scheduled appointments and cold calls.

A minimum of 25 cold calls per week.

A minimum of 2 telephone days per month. Target 70 calls per telephone day.

4 x orders per month is the minimum requirement (any combination of orders from the sales list.

Quote a minimum of 10 opportunities per calendar month.

Add a minimum of 20 new accounts to C360S per calendar month.

Achieve a minimum of 30% market awareness for your Postcode areas and record in C360S.

Achieve yearly targets.

Follow UK lead process

Update C360S each working day with your days activity.

Process orders in accordance with the order booking process.

Attend a Teams calls with your CXC Representative every two weeks.

Provide your CXC Representative with a minimum of 10 cold call follow ups per month.

Complete site surveys using the Crown site survey form.

Complete and present quotations face to face.

Demonstration of Crown equipment to advance the sale.

Attend all branch sales meetings.

Attend all Service Technician breakfast meetings.

Network with Crown suppliers and partners.

Attend a weekly individual 1-2-1 meeting with your Branch Sales Manager.

Establish strong and positive internal Crown relationships.

By your actions promote a safe workplace for all.

Attend work-related training and development programs.

Follow the Crown STARS sales process.

Complete online LMS learning modules as part of your ongoing learning and as assigned.

Take ownership of your product and industry learning and development.

Occasional work-related overnight stays.

Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

  • Sales experience ideally within the Materials Handling sector.
  • Strong new business development skills.
  • Excellent customer management skills to build long lasting relationships.
  • Personable ability to build strong relationships.
  • Strong presentation and customer facing skills.
  • Commercial acumen (need identification market awareness competitor awareness).
  • Strong IT skills proficient in Microsoft Office Excel Word PowerPoint and Cloud based CRM System.
  • Excellent organisational skills (specifically territory planning time management and working to deadline).
  • Meet individual sales targets by maximising upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Ability to absorb client information and communicate features and benefits to customers.
  • KPI driven.
  • Full UK driving licence.
