DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
The network engineer programs and troubleshoots network equipment from routers switches DSLAM and nanobeam equipment. The network engineer monitors circuits daily to check for anomalies that may cause outages. This role assists in providing any network support for all programs used in all TDCJ.

III. TERMS OF SERVICE
Services are expected to start 06/23/2025 and are expected to complete by 08/31/2025. Total estimated hours per Candidate shall not exceed 880 hours. This service may be amended renewed and/or extended providing both parties agree to do so in writing.
IV. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION
Services shall be provided during normal business hours unless otherwise coordinated through the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM excluding State holidays when the agency is closed. The primary work location(s) will be at 815 11th St Huntsville TX 77340. The working position is Hybrid - On Site and Telework.

VI. ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The TDCJ anticipates that this will be a 40 hours per week position from date of award through August 31 2025.
The TDCJ will require the Network Engineer 3 to perform on-site duties at 815 11th St Huntsville TX 77340. Once training has been completed a Hybrid - Onsite and Telework schedule may be offered. In-person meetings may be required on occasion in Huntsville TX and advance notice will be given. Travel expenses are not covered or reimbursed by the Agency.
