Job Description
As a (Senior) Inhouse Application Consultant DevOps you will take responsibility for our CI/CD systems and be a member of the R&D Software Development Team working closely with Engineering to further develop our products.
- You will support the implementation of strategically important IT projects and act as a key interface between Global Software Development / IT Operations and the business units.
- Your core tasks include optimizing the software development infrastructure as well as evaluating and introducing software engineering tools.
- You will drive our DevOps processes forward (On-Premise / Cloud) and contribute your own ideas.
- You will monitor compliance with DevOps processes and maintain close communication with the teams ensuring software quality at all times.
- You will administer our Continuous Integration and Deployment systems and advocate for our DevOps culture within the team.
Qualifications :
- You have successfully completed an academic degree in Computer Science Natural Sciences (e.g. Bioinformatics Mathematics Physics Statistics) or a related field. Alternatively you have vocational training and/or experience in DevOps topics or related areas.
- Ideally you have expertise in at least one scripting language such as Python or Groovy as well as knowledge in areas like Linux Windows and macOS server administration Ansible cloud infrastructure (e.g. Azure) or tools like the Atlassian Suite Jenkins and JFrog Artifactory.
- You enjoy contributing your own ideas and working in international teams.
- Ideally you are comfortable communicating in English and thrive in an international environment.
- You are eager to grow and develop alongside us in a rapidly expanding company.
