The secondee will be assigned to the Manufacturing Science & Technology (MS&T) and Analytical Technology (AT) groups within the Sanford Global Technology Engineering and Launch (GTEL) organization. The secondee will be responsible for establishing an integrated Program Milestone and Resource Prediction Tool(s) for managing MS&T and AT supported programs (i.e. clinical launch commercial / tech transfer support and 2nd generation process development and characterization). This tool will account for the unique activities owned by MS&T and AT including process models process/analytical investigation support 2nd generation process development analytical method transfer assay investigation support process analytics characterization and analytical robustness support.
How You Will Achieve It
Project Management: Lead effort with program team to codify program work packages milestones dependencies stages and resources needed to succeed in completing program objectives.
Tool Development: Create a robust tool/system that integrates all aspects of the program including all the elements above. Implement mechanisms within the tool/system to resolve prioritization conflicts ensuring that critical tasks are addressed promptly. Develop features within the tool/system to accommodate and manage shifting timelines ensuring that the program remains on track despite changes.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with various stakeholders and levels within GTEL including process scientists MS&T and AT program leaders co-development leaders Network Strategy MS&T and AT department leaders and GTEL leadership (T4).
Team Leadership: Lead matrix teams and build strategic plans to support project goals.
Communication: Communicate effectively with leadership and various stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress.
Data Visualization: Utilize Excel PowerBI and other tools to build data visualizations and dashboards.
Qualifications
Must-Have
Education or Equivalent:
Applicant must have a bachelors degree with at least 5 years ofexperience; OR a masters degree with at least 3 years of experience; ORa PhD with 0 years of experience; OR as associates degree with 8 yearsof experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 10 years ofrelevant experience.
Technical Competencies:
Experience in project management and leading matrix teams.
Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate with leadership.
Proficiency in Excel and experience with building data visualizations (PowerBI) and dashboards.
Behavioral Competencies:
Highly motivated self-starter ability to work with a team or alone to achieve goals as needed.
Always acts with integrity and in accordance with company values policies procedures.
Build and utilize network connections established on cross-functional teams to shape local project milestones and deliverables.
Organizational Reporting Structure
Incumbent will report directly to the Sr. Manager / Manager of Central Support within MS&T.
Incumbent will interact with all process groups within MS&T and Analytical Technology.
Incumbent is expected to participate on cross-functional and matrixed teams.
Occasionally work off-shift weekends and/or holidays to meet business or stakeholder needs.
Background of MS&T and AT
The Manufacturing Science & Technology (MS&T) and Analytical Technology (AT) organizations at Sanford are integral to the sites operations. As part of the above-site Global Engineering Technology and Launch (GTEL) organization MS&T ensures the successful transfer and development of technologies and processes that enhance the sites capabilities and performance. Complementarily AT focuses on analytical method transfer assay investigation support process characterization and providing analytical support to MS&T.
