Job Description
- Assist in planning and scheduling of port handling equipment (e.g. quay cranes yard cranes vehicles) to ensure optimal allocation and utilization.
- Ensure that all equipment-related operations comply with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. ISO SS standards).
- Gather and analyze performance and maintenance data of equipment to identify quality trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance team to schedule inspections preventive maintenance and repairs with minimal operational disruption.
- Assist in the implementation of quality improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency reduce downtime and support sustainability goals.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory maintenance history and quality audits using digital asset management systems.
- Prepare reports and documentation for audits internal reviews and management updates on equipment performance and compliance.
- Participate in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and insights related to equipment quality and planning.
- Coordinate with operations engineering and safety teams to communicate planning changes quality issues and mitigation measures.
- Promote a culture of safety and risk awareness in equipment handling and ensure adherence to workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations.
Requirements
- NITEC or minimum 3 O level credits
- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word
