On Site Construction Project for the Point -No-Point Bridge in Kearny NJ is looking for Bridge Inspection Interns and Co-Op students with interest in the inspection of major Bridge Structures.
Field Services Unit -
Main responsibilities include condition inspection of major bridge structures related highway structures and tunnels and construction inspection of bridge and other projects. M&Ms expertise in coatings inspection is also housed in this unit as is our technical access (rope climbing) program. Staff in the Field Services unit is mostly composed of Structural Engineers and Technicians.

Point-No-Point Bridge Project:
M&M is providing management oversight for the entire project making sure all aspects of the project are on schedule during the Final Design phase through the construction contract being awarded. This encompasses peer review of the structural mechanical electrical utility and ROW design plans specifications schedule and estimate; permit review; tracking ROW acquisition; Conrail internal departments; coordinate Passaic River capping with regulatory agencies (USCG USACOE DEP and EPA) and construction of the new bridge; and coordination with other transportation entities (PATH NJ Transit CSX Amtrak and NJTA). M&M is also tracking permit approval and ROW acquisition to ensure the timing of construction staging adheres to the permits and deed restrictions.
