Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Weighing Operations:
- Operating the weighbridge system to accurately record weights of trucks carrying raw materials (e.g. crude vegetable oil palm oil soya oil) and finished edible oil products.
- Capturing tare (empty truck weight) and gross (truck with load) weights for inbound and outbound trucks.
- Directing trucks to appropriate areas based on weighbridge data.
- Ensuring trucks are properly positioned on the weighbridge and that drivers are aware of procedures.
- Operating the weighbridge system to accurately record weights of trucks carrying raw materials (e.g. crude vegetable oil palm oil soya oil) and finished edible oil products.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Generating weighbridge tickets and other necessary documentation for each transaction.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all weighbridge transactions.
- Generating daily weekly or monthly reports on material movements and weight data.
- Ensuring all documentation is properly retained and filed.

- Compliance and Safety:
- Adhering to all company safety and environmental procedures related to weighbridge operations.
- Reporting any system failures inaccuracies or other issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensuring compliance with site rules and regulations for all vehicles entering and exiting the facility.

Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in operating weighbridge systems and related software.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
- Knowledge of weighbridge maintenance and calibration is a plus.
- Proficiency in operating weighbridge systems and related software.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills to address any issues that arise during weighing operations.

- Industry Knowledge:
- Familiarity with the edible oil industry and its supply chain is an advantage.
- Understanding of relevant safety regulations and procedures.
- Experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment is beneficial.
