Salary offers will be made in alignment with Outside Ins union contract and will follow the posted pay range. The wage will be based on a candidates experience (paid or unpaid) that is directly relevant to the position. An additional pay differential is available for those who are dually credentialed as both a masters level clinician and a CADC I II or III.
SUD Treatment Counselor (unlicensed) Grade 7:
Annual Starting Pay Range: $60874.22 - $67193.75
SUD Treatment Counselor (licensed) Grade 8:
Annual Starting Pay Range: $66955.15 $73905.96

Job Description:
The SUD Treatment Counselor provides solution-focused brief intervention counseling and case management for clients with substance use disorder as a part of Outside Ins Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT) Program. Counselor is a vital role in an interdisciplinary team of Primary Care Providers Peer Support Specialists RNs and other Behavioral Health Counselors. This position is based in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Portland servicing adults experiencing homelessness substance use mental health concerns and other health concerns.

This job is in a standard medical office environment at our Downtown Clinic located at 1132 SW 13th Ave Portland OR. Travel is expected to support other agency clinics and teams at times.
