The Company

Our client is a privately owned boutique building contractor that specialises in commercial new build fit out and refurbishment. The have secured ongoing negotiated work with several national brands from the retail and hospitality sectors as well as positioning themselves well with works associated with the 2032 Olympics here in Brisbane.

Due to this ongoing success and clear revenue projections they are predicting steady growth in what is an incredibly exciting time for the business.

The Role

Due to the forecast growth our client is looking for a new Cadet Estimator to join the business. Working closely with the Managing Director you will support the Estimating process through doing basic measures and take offs collecting subcontractor quotes and document control. You will get on the job training and a clear pathway to an autonomous Estimating role.

About you

Most importantly you will be a humble team player intelligent and demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence. You will be eager to learn have a keen eye for detail.

The right candidate will be studying a Bachelor of Construction Management and have at least 12 months experience as a Cadet in a Tier 2 or Tier 3 principal building contractor.
