Job Description
Location: Plano TX(Preferred) Charlotte NC
Need profile with banking experience
Intake call Notes:
2 Teradata Architects (BACJPBACJP)
Teradata Architecture and Remediation Services group
Code reviews- whatever code is going into Teradata platform is reviewed by them before it is approved and deployed
Create Standards/documents and guidelines on how to use
Level 3 or 4 support
10- 12 associates in US 10-12 associates in India
Why is it open: 2 Backfill positions
Skillest: Strong Teradata Expertise resolve issues understand capabilities tied to latest versions (17.0) and python programming skills.
Rate: has been able to find people at this rate so when I asked about rate exception he said it would have to be a really really strong candidate to present.
Timeline: Ready to interview starting this Thursday/Friday
Already has a few candidates whove been subbed from previous openings
Tenure: 18 months likely can get extended to 24 and would like to convert ultimately. If we present someone who CANNOT convert just let him know on the front end.
Skillset Titles to look for: Can look for Sr. Data Engineer or Data Architect with Teradata/Python exp. 5-7 years (mid-level) would be good.
Location: Plano preferred CLT secondary
Relocation: Open to relocation candidates but need to make sure they are ready to start from Day 1- no exceptions.
Open to me sending resumes directly to him to review but also wants us to submit in FG.

Details: This role will be responsible for contributing to create Teradata Platform Strategy and Roadmap.
Key responsibilities of Architect include:
Evaluating Teradata platform features and creating roadmaps.
Creates Teradata platform standards and integration patterns.
Performs Proof of Concept execution and socialization.
Creates foundational architecture for new capability. Coordinates pilot onboarding to new capability.
Support teams for key feature implementation troubleshooting and remediation of Teradata Users and Applications.
Profiency in Teradata. Work experience with Teradata V 17.20 or Higher
Experience as Teradata Architect or DBA
Expertise in Teradata database Cloud Migration
Experience in administrating Teradata databases including upgrades performance tuning and managing backup solutions like DSA and Data Domain.
Proficient in SQL and Teradata utilities such as TPT BTEQ FastLoad MultiLoad and TPump
Experience in performance optimization role-based access control setup and managing database upgrades
Proficient in utilities like NOS QueryGrid and Clearscape Analytics
Good Communication Skills
Experience on Snowflake/Databricks
