Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a highly skilled and tech-savvy Senior AI & Data Operations Specialist to support the implementation and optimization of AI-driven solutions across our organization. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in AI/ML systems automation tools and data workflows who thrives in cross-functional environments and is passionate about leveraging emerging technologies to drive operational efficiency and business innovation.
Execute and optimize data collection creation and annotation workflows across multiple formats (text image audio video).
Collaborate with clients to define project goals clarify training data requirements and ensure accurate high-quality delivery aligned with AI/ML objectives.
Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies to identify opportunities for business-wide implementation.
Deploy AI models and automation tools to streamline processes across finance operations and other departments.
Integrate and optimize tools like (invoice automation) Dext (receipt management) Fathom/Jirav (cash flow forecasting) and 7shifts (labor optimization).
Ensure data flow between POS and accounting systems (e.g. Lavu Restaurant365) using Zapier Make or Omnivore.
Build and maintain internal dashboards using Power BI or Looker Studio to monitor financials labor metrics and operational performance.
Streamline bank transaction imports into platforms like Restaurant365 and implement reconciliation tools such as AutoRek or BlackLine.
Explore and implement AI-powered bookkeeping tools such as Botkeeper or Zeni.
Monitor troubleshoot and continuously optimize AI systems for accuracy scalability and business impact.
Work cross-functionally with engineering product operations and finance teams to embed AI solutions across business units.
Develop and maintain documentation provide training and technical support to internal stakeholders using AI applications.
Ensure AI implementations align with ethical standards compliance needs and overall business strategy.
Stay current on AI trends tools and best practices to help drive innovation and efficiency across the organization.
Requirements
Skills & Qualifications
5 years of experience in AI/ML data operations or automation-related roles preferably in multi-system environments.
Strong understanding of data workflows quality frameworks and scalable systems for training data and analytics.
Experience with automation platforms (e.g. Zapier Make) AI tools (e.g. Botkeeper) and BI tools (e.g. Power BI Looker Studio).
Comfortable working with SQL Python or similar tools for analysis or scripting.
Familiarity with accounting and POS platforms such as Restaurant365 and Lavu is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to evaluate implement and optimize new tools in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in cross-functional contexts.
Bachelor s degree in computer science data science finance or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
