Job Description
Position: Senior Developer Data Warehouse Architect
Location: Dothan AL
Full time permanent position
The Data Warehouse Architect plays a pivotal role in designing implementing and continuously optimizing our enterprise data warehouse architecture. Reporting to the Enterprise Data Warehouse & BI Manager this individual will be responsible for translating business needs into scalable reliable and high-performing data solutions.
In this role youll be the strategic and technical lead in defining data models building robust ETL/ELT pipelines and ensuring the availability of high-quality data across the enterprise. Youll work closely with business stakeholders to understand analytics requirements and deliver trusted data assets that power decision-making across all levels of the organization.
Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in data warehousing data architecture or a related field.
- 5 years of experience developing and maintaining logical and physical data models.
- 5 years of experience designing and/or implementing ETL/ELT processes and data integration strategies using tools such as:
- Qlik dbt Talend Informatica SSIS
- SQL and/or Python for custom integrations and transformations
- Strong understanding of data governance MDM metadata management and data quality frameworks.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring and knowledge-sharing within cross-functional teams.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or a related field
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience with or leading cloud data platform adoption or migration (e.g. Snowflake Azure Synapse Microsoft Fabric Redshift or BigQuery).
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as MicroStrategy Power BI or Tableau.
- Working knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards (e.g. GDPR HIPAA SOX).
- Experience with CI/CD for data pipelines version control and DevOps practices in data engineering.
