Job Description
Food Stores ensures the smooth and efficient running of the Food & Liquor Stores achieving maximum employee job satisfaction while adhering to the standards required by the Hotel. Attendants will generally work in the beverage area and general supplies area.
Starting Rate: $20.25 per hour
We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $26.13.
Job Duties Include:
Reporting to the Procurement & Inventory Supervisor responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Ensure all items are properly unloaded and stored in the correct location
- Maintaining exceptional rotation of products First in First out
- Maintain a perpetual inventory on all products
- Fill all outlet orders and requisitions accurately
- Assist with all inventory counts
- Assist the Receiving department with paperwork retrieval and delivery to departments
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Your Skills & Qualifications:
- Knowledge of food and beverage products
- Previous warehouse experience an asset
- Knowledge of Birch Street (Inventory Software)
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Must be a team player and have excellent organizational skills
- High School diploma
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Lifting and Carrying: Over 100lbs everyday
- Pushing Pulling: Over 150lbs everyday
- Repetitive Motions: Reaching Walking Standing Lifting heavy objects
