Job Summary:
The Parts Department and Accessory Specialist is responsible for work with the Sales Dept and their customers scheduling appointments work with assigned technicians for accessory installationand with sourcing ordering and selling genuine Toyota parts and accessories. This role requires strong organizational skills automotive knowledge and a commitment to enhancing the customer experience. If you are a people person and good with computers we want to hear from you!

Work hours will be 10am-8pm Mon-Fri and a Saturday rotation with scheduled time off during the week. We are in need of two individuals for this new position within the dealership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers and service technicians in identifying and sourcing genuine Toyota parts and accessories.
  • Process parts orders set appointments for the New Car Sales customer for accessory installation.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stocking of parts and accessories.
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations on Toyota accessories to enhance vehicle performance and aesthetics.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Dept and technicians to ensure timely delivery of accessory install vehicles.
  • Handle customer inquiries via phone email or in-person with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Stay updated on Toyota parts accessories and product changes through training and resources.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in automotive or related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in an automotive parts department or retail environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of Toyota vehicles parts and accessories is an asset.
  • Strong computer skills including experience with inventory management systems (e.g. Reynolds & Reynolds ADP or similar).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
