DescriptionElectrical Assembler
The Electronic Assembler under minimum supervision performs all assembly and tests vital to finish the electronic products.
- Performs final test on all assembled finished units using test equipment such as storage oscilloscopes Digital Multimeters and ammeters.
- Trouble shoots completed units and individual printed wire boards using Engineering specifications Schematics and Product Specifications.
- Rotates in other work cells as advised by Supervisor or Cell Leader.
- Packs finished product for shipment.
- Actively participates in making cell improvements suggests and helps implement.
- Performs duties to established quality standards.
- Maintains work area in accordance with established housekeeping procedures to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
- Performs such similar or comparable related duties as the needs arises to ensure the production of quality products.
Qualifications - External
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one-year experience in electrical assembly
- Confirmed manual dexterity and electro-mechanical aptitude
- Positive work experience in a team environment
- Ability to use various hand and power tools and equipment and to read measuring devices
- Experience using computer keyboard
- Confirmed attainment of quality standards
- Process focused experience working with one-piece work flow in daily work
- Experience working from blueprints engineering drawings and customer orders
- Previous Manufacturing Experience preferred
- Lifting up to 30 lbs. manually.
- Safety glasses are required.
- Standing is required for long periods of time.
- Overtime may be required.
