Primary Duties:
- Construct control cable assemblies through techniques such as soldering crimping and the use of hand tools
- Assemble various mechanical components including motors gearboxes and actuators
- Conduct assembly testing by following detailed written guidelines and utilizing computerized testing systems
- Perform circuit board assembly tasks requiring proficiency in soldering and interpreting schematics
- Record test outcomes and input data using software tools like Microsoft Word and Excel
- Adhere to established quality control procedures and standards (training will be provided)
- Ensure precision and thoroughness throughout all assembly processes
Qualifications and Skills:
- Prior experience in assembly work is beneficial but not mandatory; comprehensive training will be provided to candidates who demonstrate the right attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong manual dexterity with the ability to handle delicate components and perform precise tasks efficiently
- Comfortable following detailed instructions presented in both written formats and computer-based programs ensuring accuracy and consistency in all tasks
- Basic soldering skills are a plus; however thorough training will be offered to help you master this essential technique
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams is preferred with support available to build this expertise on the job
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality throughout every stage of the assembly process
- Well-developed organizational skills to manage workflow effectively and document testing results clearly and accurately
- Familiarity with basic computer applications specifically Microsoft Word and Excel for recording test data updating reports and communicating results efficiently
Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and address issues proactively during assembly and testing procedures
