We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales Trade Business to lead and drive sales efforts within our Trade Customer segment which includes wholesalers distributors retailers agents and e-commerce platforms. This role is instrumental in shaping and executing strategic sales initiatives strengthening customer relationships and enhancing operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess deep industry knowledge of the trade distribution ecosystem and a proven ability to drive performance in complex sales environments.
Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Create and implement growth-oriented sales strategies targeting market penetration in the Trade Business category.
Customer Relationship Management: Own and manage high-value relationships with wholesalers distributors agents retailers and e-commerce partners ensuring tailored solutions and customer satisfaction.
Performance Monitoring: Set performance expectations monitor team metrics and foster a high-performance culture within the trade sales team.
Sales Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve internal and external sales processes through collaboration with Sales Support Operations IT and factory teams to enhance the customer experience.
Forecasting & CRM Oversight: Oversee sales forecasting order intake through the Flash process and drive effective use of Salesforce CRM across the sales organization.
Market Intelligence: Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and develop proactive growth strategies.
Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts budget reports and performance reviews to senior management with actionable insights.
Bachelors degree in Business Sales Marketing or a related field (MBA preferred)
Minimum 810 years of progressive sales leadership experience ideally within Trade/Wholesale/Distribution channels
Proven track record of managing high-performing sales teams and delivering revenue growth
Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting budgeting and CRM (Salesforce preferred)
Exceptional communication negotiation and relationship-building skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and drive process improvements across departments
