We are looking for anHuman Resources Business Partner (Talent Management) a skilled individual with significant experience that will play a key role in our recruitment talent management and engagement activities.
What You Will Do
- Lead indirect recruitment efforts for the organization; work with hiring managers to understand their needs post jobs and screen candidates for presentation; support onboarding and administrative activities.
- Drive engagement across Southmedic through the Gallup program; leverage our current program to measure employee engagement and support leaders in executing action item activities that fulfill employee needs.
- Develop talent management programs to help sustain and grow organizational talent. Create succession planning strategies to identify at-risk positions build talent pipelines and support employee development.
- Support key performance and compensation activities. Assist with annual performance and compensation reviews across the organization.
- Create training and development initiatives to support individual growth. Build and administer programs to support both employees and leaders in various workplace topics
- Operate in the role of employee ambassador. Live the values of Southmedic and support organizational activities that contribute towards a positive workplace culture.
This is an in-office position located in Barrie Ontario.
What We Need
- Experience leading recruitment efforts for an organization from start to finish. Working with hiring managers creating job postings screening interviews candidate presentation offer letters and onboarding activities.
- Experience with executing and promoting corporate culture programs; fostering engagement with both employees and leaders to create value.
- Experience building succession planning and talent management programs and working with hiring managers on execution.
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and creating engagement with adult learners.
- Strong administrator comfortable with numbers; at ease when competing daily administrative tasks with a high attention for detail
- Familiarity working with PowerPoint and Excel and basic graphic design tools like Canva.
- Engaging personality; comfortable with public speaking and making connections with new faces.
- Knowledgeable in employment law.
