About the role and where you will be working:
Join our team as an ICT Support Officer and play a key role in delivering high-quality technical support across our sites in Western Australia.
In this dynamic and hands-on role youll provide Level 1 and 2 support for applications and desktop environmentsboth remotely and on-site. Youll also take on field technician duties including the installation maintenance and repair of ICT equipment and systems.
This position is a full time 6 month contract with Central Office based in Rivervale WA.
Well also be asking you to:
Respond to and resolve user tickets related to hardware software and networking issues.
Provide operational support and maintenance for system applications including troubleshooting stakeholder communication and liaising with application vendors.
Install maintain and repair ICT equipment such as desktops laptops printers scanners thin clients and AV equipment to support SCCs ICT delivery.
Create and maintain technical documentation and user manuals for internal use.
Proactively monitor and manage end-user software hardware licensing and asset registers.
Participate in evaluating new technologies and engage in training and professional development as directed by the IT Infrastructure Manager.
About you:
Were looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment excels at troubleshooting hardware and software issues and is committed to delivering prompt professional and accurate support. Youll also contribute to improving our IT systems and processes and help document technical procedures for ongoing efficiency.
To be considered for this role youll need:
Formal IT qualifications (degree or equivalent) with 13 years experience in technical support within a Microsoft environment.
Solid understanding of Windows server environments and components such as Azure Entra ID DNS DHCP and Remote Services.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 with experience supporting enterprise applications and liaising with external vendors.
Excellent customer service skills along with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A valid drivers licence and willingness to travel to multiple SCCWA sites across Western Australia.
