Job Description
Managing all financial aspects of a contract
Operating in-unit bookkeeping systems: Processing/querying daily purchase invoices and credit notes daily reconciliation revenues & takings balancing cash office calculating stock transfers between accounts calculating waste reports closing weekly accounting period
- Weekly paperwork submission to central office
- Maintaining accrual specific documents (free issue beverages agency vending)
- Monthly quarterly and yearly client reporting suite delivery for Cost Plus contract
- Client stock reconciliation and reporting
- Client specific analytical reports
- Monthly accruals and journals preparation and postings
- P&L revision and submission
- Monthly client Invoice issuing with back up.
- Quarterly client reporting
- Budgeting and balance sheet reconciliation for client and Searcys
- Weekly Payroll management
Qualifications :
- Management accounting experience would be preferred
- Proven ability to work with and analyse big data sets
- Experience of operating in a multi-site retail business within a food service/ catering environment is essential
- A motivated self-starter with an enquiring and pro-active approach to work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills must be comfortable interacting across all levels of the business in formal and informal environments
- Excellent Excel skills
- Strong commercial mind-set
