Hiring for 2 shifts:
B Shift 6pm-4:30am Monday-Thursday ($28.68)
C Shift: 6am-6:30pm Friday through Sunday ($27.68)

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY:
This position is responsible for the start-up and implementation of the Quality Inspector function including process documentation completing quality checks on production products in addition to answering technical questions from Team Members at all levels. This position acts as a quality liaison and is responsible for facilitating and escalating quality concerns.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS:
*Identify validate and catalog any quality defects or issues using the Gauge Inspection and Quality Database.
*A clear understanding of CTQs and related measurable attributes of all products in pass-fail decision making in conjunction with the boundary samples and process control parameters.
*Work closely with Manufacturing and Quality Engineers Maintenance Technicians VSO partners and other Inspectors for Problem follow-up (PFU) Root cause analysis (RCA) Quality circles (Kaizens) and Katas.
*Perform high-volume daily internal inspection generate the reports and respond accordingly.
*Utilize Viper Web Shell Quickbase and SAP for daily inspection containment and non-conformance escalation.
*Understand change point (CPM) communications thoroughly and be able to adjust the inspection routine to cover any concessions abnormalities and step changes.
*Perform incoming materials and line-side inspections based on CoC and Supplier Specifications to issued Hold Tags and escalate NCRs if required.
*Utilize the Stop-Call-Wait system for escalation and abnormalities in process product and quality parameters.
*Assist in New Product Launches Quality Walls and shopfloor product containment in any required sort for 100% inspection with the support of the on-shift Supervisory Team.
*Attend periodic quality (QA) training and meetings scheduled via Outlook to stay current.
*Timely disposition of non-conforming material upon alignment.
*Support shift operations in overcoming quality issues by providing standards and guidelines.
*Ability to effectively work independently within a team environment and accurately under time constraints.
*Skilled working knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
*Strong verbal and written communication skills.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The ability to perform normal sitting and standing activities and lift to 50 lbs.
The ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours)
The ability to actively listening and read comprehensive documents
Strong communication skills
