Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Level 2 Network Engineer to join our IT team. In this role you will be responsible for supporting troubleshooting and maintaining our organizations network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. You will work closely with Level 1 support and collaborate with senior engineers to resolve complex network issues.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced support and troubleshooting for network hardware software and configurations.
- Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues promptly.
- Assist in the configuration deployment and maintenance of routers switches firewalls and other network devices.
- Document network configurations incidents and resolutions.
- Support network security protocols and assist in implementing security measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects.
- Maintain knowledge of current network technologies and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP BGP OSPF etc.).
- Experience with network hardware and tools (Cisco Juniper Wireshark etc.).
- Knowledge of network security principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications (CCNA CompTIA Network or equivalent) preferred.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
