Superintendent of Schools/Interim Superintendent
The Pojoaque Valley School District is seeking an educational leader who will display ethical and professional conduct in all actions. The successful candidate must demonstrate prior experience in personnel management and be able to work collaboratively with the Board to enhance school/community relations using effective communication systems.
The salary will be between $160000 and $190000 depending upon qualifications and experience.
Please note the following: The salary for an Interim Superintendent will be negotiable depending on experience. The duration of the Interim Superintendent is dependent on the hiring of a permanent Superintendent.
Minimum Qualifications:
- MA or equivalent degree in School Administration or related field
- NM Administrative License
- 5 years minimum public school administration and supervision experience
- 5 years minimum teaching experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with school administrative programming such as budget finance Human Resources and capital improvements.
- Experience with district operations such as transportation safety and internal/external partnerships.
- Experience with educational infrastructure and related student achievement performance measures.
- Experience supporting diverse and multicultural students and their community.
- Experience as a lead executive with responsibility to work with a governingentity such as boards councils and commission
