Job Description

About the Role
The team are looking for an experienced Planning Lead to manage and allocate the resources for NBN Connections across Northern NSW. With a hybrid working environment our main teams are based in Parramatta Sydney Pacific Highway North Sydney or Wetherill Park Sydney however for the right candidate we can potentially consider alternative locations as we have offices nationwide

The selected candidate will have NBN connections scheduling and forecasting experience within large-scale projects.

Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Work with project managers and stakeholders to define create and manage resource needs to align with both preparation and execution phases.
  • Forecast and schedule resource plans for short-term medium-term and long-term project plans.
  • Address gaps in resources and coordinate with supply chain teams to meet contractual KPIs
  • Monitor and optimize resource utilization ensuring efficient allocation
  • Proactively address resource-related risks including delays in onboarding resources compliance or potential shortages.
  • Foster a culture of improvement by sharing lessons learned and benchmarking against industry standards.
  • Clearly understand all contractual obligations and entitlements including KPIs and delivering to the customers needs

Required Skills and Experience

  • 2 years in resource management or capacity planning within nbn connection projects (preferred)
  • Familiarity with resource allocation and forecasting systems and tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and directly with the field workforce particularly with Before-the-Day (BTD) preparations and On-the-Day (OTD) execution.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Good understanding of different customer nbn technologies
