Position Summary: The Production Planning Job Family is responsible for optimizing the use of resources and meeting production schedules and standards including: planning and controlling production schedules and coordinating with material requirements; researching evaluating and recommending changes to production processes systems technology or equipment to enhance organizations production capabilities; plans departmental workflows to establish sequence and lead time of each production operation; expedites operations that delay and alters schedules; analyzes plant capacity and production requisition data to determine manufacturing processes and required resources.
Work Youll Do:
Run Prints and stuff Work Order Packets distribute Work Orders
Monitor Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)
Monitor Work Order Department Transfers and prepare work orders for outside process
Request to Purchasing to cut PO and Expedite parts out for outside process
Close Work Orders and ensure they have reached the final destination
Locate Lost Parts for Manufacturing and generate Stock Orders
Basic Qualifications:
2 years of related industry experience or a combination of equivalent education and experience
Versed in Microsoft Office Applications
Preferred Qualifications:
