DESCRIPTION We are looking for a Middle School Boys Assistant Wrestling Coach. This job is a non-faculty coaching position. A Middle School Assistant Wrestling Coach primarilysupports the head coach in all aspects of the program including practice competition and student involves instructing wrestlers managing equipment and ensuring a positive and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Instruction and Training: Assist in teaching wrestling techniques strategies and rules to students.
Practice Management: Organize and conduct practice sessions including drills warm-ups and skill development exercises.
Competition Support: Assist with match planning strategy and ensuring athletes are prepared for competition.
Student Development: Mentor students promote sportsmanship and help them develop their physical and mental skills.
Equipment and Facility Management: Maintain equipment supervise locker rooms and ensure facilities are ready for practices and competitions.
Communication and Coordination: Communicate effectively with students parents and other coaches and assist with paperwork and communication related to the program.
Safety and Supervision: Ensure athletes are properly supervised during practices and competitions and follow established procedures in case of injury.
Additional Duties: - Assist in organizing parental meetings and award ceremonies.
- Help with record-keeping and administrative tasks related to the program.
- Attend coaches meetings and other training opportunities.
