The Randolph High School World Language Teacher must effectively instruct students to communicate and understand the world language. The teacher must be able to guide and encourage students to practice vocabularies theyve learned and assist them to accurately listen speak write and read in French or Spanish. The teacher must be knowledgeable in the various techniques and formal exercises used in teaching world languages. They must be able to create engaging lesson plans; plan grade appropriate classroom activities to motivate students; prepare visual aids; while coaching students individually or as a group. The teacher will be responsible for primarily teaching Spanish teaching Levels I and II (possibly III) which can include grammar spelling pronunciation vocabulary and composition conversational French or Spanish and Spanish language literature culture and teacher facilitates student success in academic and interpersonal skills through academic courses of study and implements district approved curriculum documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific needs of students; providing a safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students parents and administration regarding student progress expectations goals etc.
